If you&#8217;re applying for childcare financial assistance in Texas, you&#8217;re in the right place. This guide will walk you through the steps to apply for a subsidy through <strong>Parent Central<\/strong>, and what happens if you&#8217;re approved, including how to enter attendance in <strong>KinderSign\/KinderSmart<\/strong> and how to access <strong>KinderConnect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1: Create Your Account in Parent Central<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin the application process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/childcare.twc.texas.gov\/find\/welcome\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/childcare.twc.texas.gov\/find\/welcome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Parent Central<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Create an Account and follow the instructions.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/tx3c.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/TX-CCC-Families-Create-an-Account-0425-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a> for account creation help.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your account is created, log in.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: <strong>Complete the TXC3 Eligibility Screener &amp; Waitlist Application<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>After logging in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to your <strong>Parent Central dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the <strong>TXC3 Eligibility Screener &amp; Waitlist Application<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/tx3c.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/TX-CCC-Families-Fill-Out-Eligibility-Screener-Waitlist-App-0724.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a> for help filling out the application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once submitted, you\u2019ll receive a <strong>confirmation email<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3: Submit the Standard Application (IF ELIGIBLE)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the board determines you are <strong>initially eligible<\/strong>, you\u2019ll receive an <strong>invitation link<\/strong> to complete the <strong>Standard Application<\/strong>.
