KinderSystems has a variety of methods through which a person with hearing or speech disabilities can request support. The methods are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>National Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS), also known as 711.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use real-time text (RTT) from a mobile iOS or Android device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chat feature within the KinderConnect application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other special accommodations upon request.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To support the methods outlined above. KinderSystems will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Train support staff on how to accept and adequately handle relay calls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make available and provide written documentation on how to use the National Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make available and provide written documentation on how to access support chat once logged into KinderConnect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm during the initial call with the provider whether special accommodations are needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy Notice<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Using a relay service is confidential. All relay services and operators are forbidden by law from disclosing the contents of the conversation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govinfo.gov\/content\/pkg\/CFR-2003-title45-vol1\/xml\/CFR-2003-title45-vol1-sec164-510.xml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">(Privacy Rule under 45 C.F.R. 164.510(b)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">National Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Telecommunications Relay Services, also known as \u201c711\u201d, is a Nationwide service available 24\/7\/365.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It permits persons with a hearing or speech disability to use the telephone system via a text telephone (TTY) or other devices to call persons with or without such disabilities free of cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Real-Time-Text (RTT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 15, 2016, the FCC adopted rules to facilitate a transition from text telephony (TTY) technology to real-time text (RTT) technology. This law allows wireless providers and cell phone manufacturers to support RTT in lieu of TTY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A large number of devices manufactured after December 2017 already have RTT support built-in. Including, but not limited to, most iOS and Android devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chat \u2013 KinderConnect<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a user has logged into KinderConnect, they can request support via a chat\/text-only interface. In most cases, using the chat feature within KinderConnect may be faster than RTT and TRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E-mail<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Email is one of the main support channels for CCAP. KinderSystems can upon request issue all communications via email instead of phone or chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other Accommodations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should other accommodations be requested, KinderSystems will make a best-effort attempt to assist using the requested communications channel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p>Please dial 1-888-265-6461 or email us at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"\" href=\"mailto:supportTX@kindersystems.com\" target=\"_blank\">supportTX@kindersystems.com<\/a>&nbsp;and one of our representatives will gladly assist you.
